Markisol’s production facility in Poland now operates exclusively on certified renewable electricity. The transition forms part of our long-term strategy to strengthen sustainable, vertically integrated European manufacturing within the sun protection category.
As a core unit in our European production platform, the Polish factory manufactures roller blinds and other sun-protection products for private label and retail programs. By sourcing renewable electricity for our operations, we reduce Scope 2 emissions while maintaining full production capacity, stable lead times, and consistent quality standards.
Supporting Retail ESG and CSRD Reporting
With the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), retailers and large distributors face increasing requirements for transparent supply chain data and carbon reporting. Supplier energy sourcing and Scope 2 emissions are becoming critical evaluation factors in procurement decisions.
