We systematically strive for more sustainable production methods and to provide our customers with safe and high-quality products. Today, all fabrics for blinds manufactured in Estonia are certified to guarantee social and environmental sustainability.
We believe in the need for sustainable production, both from a social and an environmental approach. Thus, we work for ethical and fair business dealings with our partners and suppliers, fair and safe working conditions for our employees, as well as safe and reliable products for our end-consumers.
Today, almost 60 percent of our fabrics are manufactured from recycled materials. For instance, we use polyester produced from recycled pet bottles. This recycled polyester fabric is certified by Global Recycled Standards. The approval criteria range from environmental processing requirements and chemical use to various social responsibilities and provides assurance that the production doesn’t harm people or the environment.
Furthermore, all our fabrics for blinds manufactured in Estonia are OEKO-TEX®-certified. The certification applies to all our fabrics, made of polyester, cotton, linen, and blends. The OEKO-TEX® certification implicates that our fabrics do not contain chemicals that are harmful to health and are, therefore, products with high human ecological requirements.
